GENERAL DESCRIPTION
A nominal 50 Watt (narrowband) WiMAX & QPSK/QAM modulation scheme amplifier using GaN device technology operating over a 150 MHz band in the 3.3 to 3.8 GHz frequency band. The amplifier has a typical gain of 46 dB (± 1.5 dB) over most of this range and achieves < 2.5% EVM when operating up to rated power with > 25% DC efficiency. Intended for use within indoor or outdoor equipment environments the unit operates over wide temperature extremes and incorporates internal protection systems to ensure reliable performance.
