8800 and 8801 models, CoFDM linear amplifiers, nominally rated at 1 Watt and 5 Watts respectively, both operating between 2.0 GHz and 2.8 GHz for video at QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM modulation schemes, are now available and being demonstrated at outside Shows, from Amplifier Technology, the respected leader in the production of high power amplifiers.

As an amplifier design specialist, Amplifier Technology has taken its expertise and applied it to developing a new range of communications amplifiers for the broadcast market.

These new booster amplifiers offer 2.0 - 2.8 GHz for CoFDM broadcast, outside broadcast and video, meaning they can be used with wireless cameras. Both amplifiers are easily portable with a 12V supply and tests prove good linearity across the band.

The 5 Watt amplifier, model 8801 is larger than the 1 Watt amplifier, model 8800, 155 x 115 mm and 110 mm x 60 mm respectively.
